The school is adhering to the policies, procedures and guidance of its sponsor school which is leading and shaping Inclusion in order to develop outstanding practice across the Multi-Academy Trust. Bretforton Village School values the contribution that every child can make and welcomes the diversity of culture, religion and intellectual style. We are committed to providing an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils whatever their needs and abilities. All children are valued and respected equally as members of the school community. More Able Provision

At Bretforton Village School, any child showing exceptional ability is identified through our assessment process. Parents will be closely involved with the class teacher to agree and set targets and to provide appropriate provision through an Individual Challenge Plan (ICP). More able pupils will be supported through inclusive teaching, extension activities, working with pupils within school of a similar ability and attending workshops for Gifted and Talented pupils arranged in partnership with other local schools.
